God's Word Today
Jean-Pierre Prévost is the editor of God's Word Today and author, among other books, of How to Read the Apocalypse, How to Read the Prophets, A Short Dictionary of Psalms, Why o Lord ? — Job and the Problem of Suffering . Most of his books have also been translated from French to Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. He has been one of the editors of a widely publicized and new version of the Bible in French (Bayard-Mediaspaul, 2001), and the editor of a New Vocabulary of the Bible (same publishers, 2004). He did his graduate studies at the Pontifical Biblical in Rome and at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He lives in Gatineau, Quebec, and works as a freelance author and translator for Bayard France on different projects related to Scripture.

George Martin began God's Word Today in 1979, and served as its editor until 1996. His books include Reading Scripture as the Word of God , God's Word , and Praying with Jesus . He received a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame and later an M.A. in Religious Studies from Barry University. He and his wife Mary live in Florida and are the parents of five grown children. He writes three issues of God's Word Today every year.

Kathleen Stauffer leads the magazine teams as President and Publisher of the Bayard Magazine Group. After 19 years at Catholic Digest, Bayard Inc’s flagship publication in North America, and 25 years as a journalist, Kathleen began her publishing career with God's Word Today in 2003. A 1985 graduate of Point Park University, she has coauthored two wellness books and recently completed Padre Pio, an intimate portrait of a saint through the eyes of his friends. She received early career training at The Pittsburgh Press, Reader's Digest, and Prevention Magazine. Kathleen is a member of the board of directors of the Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada.
